Struggling with the RSVP or Purchase process?

Let's see if we can help.

Using Filters

Our Schedule & Tickets page includes a great interactive tool that will help you hone in on events or dates that are of interest to you!

Click on the interactive filters to the right of the schedule to filter by Date, or Type of event.

Many events are listed in multiple categories, but can only be color coded for the main event type.

For example, Free or Kids & Family events may be color coded as Performances, Creative Activities, etc. Use the Kids & Family filter to see all family-friendly events, or even use a sub-filter (e.g. see all family events relating to literature)!

To Filter by Date, hover over the Date item on the right of the screen and click to select a date. You may only select one date at a time

Note that you may need to scroll to see August dates.

To Filter by Type, hover over the Type of event you're interested on the right of the screen.

You can select subtypes if you'd like to further narrow the list!

Event Details

You can learn more about an event either by Hovering over the event title, or Clicking on it, or by switching the schedule to Expanded view (see View Options below).

Events requiring Tickets or RSVPs will also display a reservations module for events.

Hover View displays brief information, artist links – without navigating away from the main Schedule page.

Click-Through View opens a full page for each individual event, including more details about the artists, and may include a longer event description.

View Options

You may view our schedule in its default Simple format, or use the Schedule dropdown above the listed events to switch into another view mode, such as the Expanded view or a daily Grid

You can also click over to the Artists view just to the right of the schedule drop-down to learn more about guest artists and see the events they will be involved in.

Expanded View displays all details for every event on the calendar. It's a great way to learn more.... but it takes a lot of scrolling!

Grid View shows an hour-by-hour calendar of a given day, so you can plan for cross-scheduled events, food, etc.

RSVPs and Ticketing

You may RSVP for free events or purchase tickets, using the ticketing widget within the schedule (visible in Hover or Click-Through view).

A 2-inch ticketing module will appear at the top of all events requiring a Ticket or RSVP.

You may need to scroll within this module to see all dates and complete your reservation.

To scroll within the module, either:

  • hold your mouse over the center of the ticketing module, and scroll, in the same way you would scroll on any website, or
  • Locate scrollbar on the side of the module (if visible), and click+drag to scroll

Select the number of tickets you would like to reserve for the dates you plan to attend.

Remember to scroll down for additional dates on multi-occurrence events (eg Wellness activities, Dinners, etc).

Scroll down until you see the green Register button.

Until you click the green button and complete the registration process, including contact information and payment (if applicable), your reservation is not complete!

Non-Ticketed Events

Most of the Five Senses Festival events require reservations, due to limited space, seating, or instructors.

A few events do not require Tickets or RSVPs. These events will not include a ticketing module, but the event description will include text indicating that reservations are not required.

Unticketed events include:

  • Closing Night Parties

Common Questions and Proclamations

Do I have to register for events I plan to attend?

If there is availability, our staff is happy to help you register or purchase last-minute tickets on the festival grounds. (Go on – get carried away!)

However, our space and seating are limited, and we can't promise that there will be availability. For all Ticketed and RSVP-based events, we highly recommend securing your reservation in advance, so we don't have to turn you away.

Do I need tickets for my kids?

Our capacity is based on available space, seating, staff, and supplies.

  • If your child requires their own seat and/or plans to participate, please secure a reservation for them.
  • If your toddler or infant will be sitting on your lap, you do not need a separate ticket or reservation.

If you have any questions, please contact us at

Which events can my kids attend?

You can use the Kids & Family filter (or teens sub-filter!) to see events tagged as family-friendly. (See above for a step-by-step).

But you know your family best! If there are other events you'd like to share with your whole family, or if you'd like to hear more about content, etc, you can always reach out to us at

We do our best to make events friendly to every member of our community – however the Festival grounds are an outdoor space, and may have mud or uneven ground, ambient noise distractions, extreme summer weather, etc. The Five Senses

Please contact us at if you have a specific need we can help you address.

I made a mistake with my tickets!

If you reserved tickets for the wrong event or date, please let us know, and we will do our best to help you.

However, as all of our events have limited capacity, an event may fill up before we can address an error. It's always best if you get it right the first time – so be sure to double-check the dates, times, and head-counts as you register. :)

Do I need to cancel tickets to a free event I cannot attend?

Yes, please let us know. Due to limited capacity, we'd love to free up the space you've reserved so someone else can attend!

I think there is a mistake on the website.

Thanks for spotting it! Please let us know by emailing
